AC drain lines can get clogged due to dirt build-up and debris. AC eliminates the moisture from the room through the condensation drain and line dumps it outside the ground. Over time mold and mildew can build up or bits of debris caught on it that will cause the water to back up and overflow. Cleaning the condensation drain lines by pouring a cupful of bleach on the opening of drain line can help in clearing the mold, mildew, and algae that builds up the pipe.
